PhiCube was awarded second place at the 23rd euRobotics Technology Transfer Award, presented at the European Robotics Forum 2026 (ERF2026) in Stavanger, Norway, on 25 March. The award recognises collaborations between European research institutions and industry that turn robotics research into real-world products, and PhiCube was one of four finalists selected for the 2026 edition.

The certificate names Matteo Malosio, Matteo Lavit Nicora and Giovanni Tauro, of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-STIIMA) and Rehabilia Technologies Srl, as the team behind PhiCube. The device is the result of research carried out at CNR-STIIMA before Rehabilia Technologies was founded to bring it to market.

The first-place award went to TR4CE-Weld, a collaboration between Fraunhofer IPA, Trumpf and Lorch on a no-code system for cobot-assisted welding.
